MAMARAI LOCAL DELIGHTS CAFE

A fast and casual cafe by the lake in Kiara Bay KL, is serving Malaysia’s local cuisines and delicacies, ranging from Nasi Lemak, Mee Rebus to Kuih-muih. The bright orange has been applied in various ways in the interior space to communicate the nature of the brand, while evoke a friendly and casual dining environment. A new volume is inserted into the existing shop to form a new spatial experience that integrates the functional need of seating, lounge area, display, and open kitchen. The orange-coloured gradient glass balustrade provides an element of interest and visual excitement to the space.  The hanging graffiti panel of local delicacies defines another visual focus for every corner in the cafe, arousing the curiosity of the guest to explore and know about the traditional food which is also one of the expressions of cultural identity.
